1. Data Controller

Under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), your personal data is processed by Şahika Halı Mobilya Day. Tük. Mal. Teks. Oto. İnş. Taah. San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. (“Şahika Halı” or the “Company”) in its capacity as data controller.

2. Scope

This notice applies to visitors to our website, people who use the contact form, visitors requesting product or price information and candidates submitting job applications through the website.

Our website does not provide online sales, membership, order creation or payment services. Product and price information is displayed for promotional and informational purposes only.

3. Personal Data Processed

Website visitors

• IP address, connection and transaction security logs,
• date and time of visits, pages viewed and activity within the website,
• browser, device, operating system, approximate location and cookie preferences,
• usage statistics where consent for analytics cookies has been provided.

People using the contact form

• Full name, email address and telephone number,
• subject of the enquiry, message content and form submission records.

Job applicants

• Contact, residence, education and experience information,
• school and field of study, department and position applied for,
• other information voluntarily provided by the candidate during the application.

Please do not submit health information, criminal conviction records, copies of identity documents or any other sensitive personal data that is not required for your enquiry or application.

4. Purposes of Processing

Your data may be processed to maintain the security and continuity of the website, identify technical problems, respond to product and price enquiries, resolve contact requests, assess job applications, measure website performance where the relevant preference has been provided, comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise or protect our rights in the event of a dispute.

5. Legal Grounds

Depending on the specific processing activity, your data is processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK, including compliance with a legal obligation, the establishment, exercise or protection of a right, legitimate interests and, where applicable, the establishment or performance of a contract.

Analytics measurement through Google Analytics is subject to the required cookie preference or explicit-consent process. The obligation to provide information and the process for obtaining explicit consent are managed separately.

6. Collection Methods and Transfers

Data may be collected electronically through information entered directly into forms, email or telephone communications, server logs, cookies and, where the required preference has been provided, Google Analytics.

To the extent necessary and limited to the relevant purpose, data may be shared with authorised employees; providers of hosting, maintenance, security, backup and email services; authorised recruitment teams; advisers; and legally authorised public bodies.

The use of Google Analytics may involve transfers of data outside Türkiye. Any such transfer is carried out with due regard to the current requirements and appropriate safeguards under Article 9 of the KVKK.

7. Retention Period

Your data is retained for as long as necessary for the purpose of processing and for any retention periods required by law. When the reason for processing no longer exists, the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Where a dispute or legal retention requirement applies, data may be retained solely for that purpose for the relevant period.

8. Your Rights Under the KVKK

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your data is processed; request information if it has been processed; learn the purpose of processing; know the parties to whom it has been transferred; request the correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; request deletion or destruction; object to an outcome produced exclusively through automated systems that is detrimental to you; and claim compensation for damage resulting from unlawful processing.

9. How to Apply

You may submit a request that clearly identifies you and explains your request either in writing to the postal address above or by emailing info@sahikahali.com from an address registered in the Company’s systems. Applications will be concluded as soon as possible and no later than 30 days, depending on the nature of the request.
